KUALA LUMPUR, JULY 01, 2020 -- Japan Expo Malaysia 2020 Goes Virtual gets hyped with the announcement of the debut virtual performance of SKE48. The distinctive performance of SKE48, the first sister group of AKB48 will be a treat to the loyal J-POP fans in Malaysia. The group which regularly performs at its own theatre at Sunshine Sakae of Nagoya, Aichi will be meeting and interacting with its fans virtually on the Zoom Platform on 18.07.2020 at 5.00 p.m.


The online meet and greet session will be a festival of fandom where fans can talk and engage in fun activities and virtually hang out with their idols at the comfort of their home.


Last year, AKB48 debut concert was a sensational hit amongst Malaysians as 180,000 people gathered to watch their performance. With the growing J-POP fanbase in Malaysia, a brilliant line-up of artiste are set to to mesmerize the fans with their cute and powerful performances


This is a pretty unique idea allowing fans to virtually meet the celebrities that they idolize. Fans would have literally dreamt about this. The best news is the Japan’s most popular virtual idol Mea Hoshino with growing subscribers – digital avatar and VTuber with her unique voice and personality will also be entertaining her fans on another exclusive meet up. A virtual YouTuber (VTuber) is an online entertainer, typically anime-styled, Japanese speaking, and a YouTuber and/or live streamer, who is represented by a (usually anime-inspired) digital avatar generated by computer graphics.
